Altenew Floral Motifs and Colored Pencils On Black Cardstock

Hey folks!

I'm back to share a surprisingly simple card with you! A little bit of masking and some coloring on a colored cardstock and you have yourself a card that makes a huge statement!

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

I love the idea of coloring directly onto a colored cardstock of any kind. Most people reach for Kraft, I do too, but I gotta say I am in looove with black. Even if it does look like one of those 1970's Velvet Pictures...

Any who...The Flowers and Leaves are from the Floral Motifs Stamp Set by Altenew (Say it with me folks, GORGEOUS!) I used Hero Art Unicorn White Pigment Ink on Simon Says Stamp Black Cardstock.

Now, I used Irojiten Color Dictionary Colored Pencils by Tombow to color in the Images. They worked awesome!! Prismacolor Colored Pencils would also be great for this of course.

I think this would be groovy as a one layer card, but I decided to fussy cut the bottom half and mount it on a Simon Says Stamp Black Cardstock Base with Fun Foam.

I kept the embellishments to a minimum. In fact, I probably could have left them off all together. I added a few Beetle Black Sprinkles by Doodlebug Design and called it a day.

That's it peeps! Easy Peasy. I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Until next time!
